We bought a Wii

When I was a kid I loved the 8-bit Nintendo system. I could beat Super Mario Bros and The Legend of Zelda wasn't just a legend in my bedroom. I was pretty good at the NES games. After that I bought Sega Genesis and played that a little, but that was right around the time that I started working, so my attentions were elsewhere. I didn't play many video games for many years. Until Wii.

Our friends have a Wii system and both Steven and I were amazed at how far console gaming has come since we were kids. The Wii blows away any systems we have seen so far. Plus, I was really excited becuse I didn't think Steven would be into a game system. With a little coaxing, he agreed that we should buy a Wii for our house.

I had read that you couldn't get a Wii system when they first came out and I was surprised that you still can't get one in many stores. I did find one on Ebay, though and it's on it's way to us now. Wiiiiiii. I can't wait.
