1) Your car will probably get rear-ended or sideswiped
I can't tell you how many cars I see on the road that are missing bumpers, hoods, trunks. You name it. Just this morning I saw a car that had no front anything - no gill, no bumper, nothing. But his blinkers worked.
I've already bitched about driving on Route 95 down here, so I won't go there again, but even driving around town you're bound to get hit. You've been warned
2) Buy lots of insurance
Florida legislators recently announced a plan that will remove the requirement to have personal injury auto insurance. Wait a minute. There are a million people in this state driving around like assholes and probably don't even have a drivers license, let alone sufficient insurance and you're going to allow this? Luckily, the bill didn't pass and we are all required to carry insurance. My recommendation is to increase your uninsured motorist coverage if you drive in Florida.
3) Drive defensively
Somehow many people now believe that you need to weave in and out of traffic, both on the highways and the local roads. Oh, and don't use a turn signal. So, be sure to drive defensively because that car on your ass is probably going to pass you (sans signal) and then cut you off down the road.
