let's take a moment to reflect

It's been almost a year since we started our plans to move from Boston to Fort Lauderdale. Wow, how fast a year goes by. We got married, sold our house, drove 1500 miles to Florida, found jobs and now here we are one year later (we actually moved at the end of March, but our preparations began after Thanksgiving).

I want to take a moment to point out how nice the weather is here now. This summer was quite warm and that is fine, but in the past month the humidity has left us and our temperatures are consistently 80* every day. It is supposed to be like this until April or May when it will heat up again. It is so nice to go outside in the morning and have it be a pleasant 65*.

Here are the current conditions in our area. While we miss our friends and family something awful, I haven't worried about which sweater is clean and how I am going to bundle up for the trek to work :)
