not much happening today

It is quiet here in south Florida today. Not much happening. Steven is home awaiting the arrival of the plants, the Orkin man, the sprinkler guy (who apparently isn't going to show) and I am at work. TGIF!

Last night we met our friend Linda for a delicious dinner at Galanga, our favorite sushi place. They are so thoughtful: for our anniversary they sent us a coupon for a free bottle of champagne with our meal and for birthdays they send a coupon for something, also free (I can't remember what it is). The food is always outstanding there, the service great and the place is always busy. The only problem is that the place is sometimes too busy and they don't have a bar, which means waiting outside - not a fun prospect in the summer humidity. But we make do :)
