One of my morning routines is to "inspect" the yard. It's not really an inspection, but rather a chance for me to see how all the plants are doing to make sure nothing is dying or in serious need of water.
This morning, on my tour, I noticed a giant snake skin in the grass. At first I didn't know what it was, but then it hit me - a snake had been there. And a big one at that. I know we have at least one snake in our yard. I hope this is the same one that shed it's skin. Snakes are good because they eat the rats that live near the water, but I don't really want a family of snakes bunking with us. That is just too close for comfort.
