Today is May 5th, Cinco de Mayo. If you're like me and have no idea what makes this day special, besides an excuse to drink tequila on Monday, check out this article on the origins of this wonderful holiday.
Sadly, this year I am not going to partake in the liquor soaked festivities. First, it is Monday. Come one now. Second, my parents are arriving on Thursday and I have a million things to do to be ready for their arrival. The combination of margaritas and cleaning will certainly spell disaster.
On another note, we had dinner at Nick's with some friends last night. I really enjoy this restaurant. Not only is the food good, but the atmosphere is fun. I think I posted about this place the first time we ate there, so I won't get into it again, but if you're itching to find out more about this place, check this out. UPDATE: Wrong.
