more fun duck babies

The ducks had another litter of baby ducklings. Boy, are they cute. Yesterday I was feeding them and it was interesting to watch the fish fight the ducks for pieces of bread. Some of the bigger fish would even come up and take a nibble out of the ducks. I had never seen up close the fish in our canal. They look like the Oscars that I used to have in Boston. Probably some people have dumped their fish into the canal and now they are thriving in there. Interesting.

A lot of our neighbors like to fish in the canal. I don't know if they keep what they catch, but the thought of eating an Oscar doesn't sound too appealing to me!
