chance of flurries
The radio announcer said to is today that there is a "sweater or light jacket advisory" today, given the sub-sixty degree weather we had this morning. I think they even cancelled school in Broward county.

the weather is so nice now
It was as if overnight all the humidity went away and we were left with simply awesome weather. The last week or so has been awesome, not hot at all, just pleasant. This is why we moved to Florida. The summers are tough, I agree, but come October things just turn to a nice mellow warm love fest. And it stays like this for a while. I was even a little chilly on the ride home, I had to put up my windows. Oh, the horror!

HGTV BS
I hate how those HGTV shows spend $2000 and practically re-do the entire house. I mean, sure, if I didn't have to pay for labor I could probably do a lot around our house. And who can find a dining room set for $40? I mean, one that looks good?
It's all a sham. Just like 30 Minute Meals. Good luck with that one.
I'm just saying.

go market go!
Today was the biggest single day gain in the history of the US stock market. Does this mean we're turning things around? Who knows. But it definitely is a good sign. Much better than the past few weeks where every morning has been a huge bummer to read the news.
Go, market, go!!!
Go, market, go!!!

Leaping Dolphin Knocks Woman Out
I have received some feedback that I have become lazy with my blog writing. And, I guess I have. Originally I posted the videos because I thought it would be fun to actually "see" us, but I have come to rely on the videos and have been posting less "thoughts", which is why I started this blog in the first place.
So, with that said, here's my thoughts!
First, this article is a good example of the perils of living in Florida: http://www.local6.com/news/17672456/detail.html
Next, I went to McDonald's for lunch today (to get a salad and Diet Coke). They had 2 drive-through lanes, one regular one and one with a guy standing under an umbrella who was taking orders. He waved me into his lane and explained that this is supposed to keep the line moving. Now, there is one major flaw here: after you order in the second line you have to get back in line with the people from the other line. And they don't want to let you back in line. Oh, and he said I had to get in line behind a specific car so that my order wouldn't get messed up. Thanks dude. Thankfully I was able to use my skills I learned driving in Boston to wedge my way into line, but I am sure I didn't make friends with the people behind me.
I just finished watching Ugly Betty. Can we talk about how each episode is better than the one before? I LOVE this show and can't say enough about it.
Speaking of shows, I am in heaven now that all my shows are back on. It was a long summer without them, and yes, I am a bad gay guy for saying that I am tired of watching reruns of The Golden Girls. There, I said it. But now I am back with all my favs like Lipstick Jungle, How I Met Your Mother, Ugly Betty, and next week Samantha Who comes back on. Oh, and The Office, I can't forget about them. They totally rock.
Ummm, what else can I talk about? Oh, I know. A couple weeks ago I had a sleep study performed on me. We think my snoring is a little out of control, so my doctor ordered a sleep study to check out what happens while I snooze. What was really neat is that the sleep study people came to our house and set up their gear so I could sleep in my own bed. How cool! I always thought you had to go somewhere to do it, and I was pleased that I could stay right at home for the study. After an hour or so of the tech hooking me up to a million wires, I was literally tucked into bed and went to sleep. They have a camera on you all night (one time I was not grateful for night vision cameras) and leave you with a cell phone in case you need to call the person who is monitoring you, or in my case, in case they needed to call ME. And they did call. Around 12:30 am I awoke to the cell phone ringing. It was the technician letting me know that one of the wires had fallen off and I needed to put it back on. It was a little freaky knowing that while I was on the phone with the tech that she could see me...in my bed. But I fixed the issue and went back to sleep. I will find out the results when I meet with my doctor next week. I often feel tired after a full nights sleep, so even if I have to get one of those masks, I don't mind. Oh, and the best part was the next morning when I had to remove all the wires and tape and goop that they had in my hair. That wasn't much fun.
Well, I think that is enough to catch you up on my life. I promise to make an effort to write more and not just post videos, although I can't promise there won't be a video or random album cover here and there. I'm just saying.
